The idea of starting a different school has been the dream of GNS’s Founder and CEO, Mr. Issam Barake. Mr. Barake has a wealth of experience that span over 33 years. He started his career in 1989 as an auditor with Ernst & Young which is one of the big four audit firms in the world. After spending 3 years there he joined the largest oilfield service company in the world (Schlumberger). In his 7 year-tenure with the company, Mr. Barake held many senior positions in finance, HR, Internal audits, accounting consolidations, teaching and training senior staff in America on how to use the most advanced computer systems and software at the time (SAP). During his career with Schlumberger Mr. Barake worked in the following countries: USA, Britain, France, UAE, Libya and Yemen and dealt with different nationalities, religions, races and cultures. Shortly after that, Mr. Barake joined one of the leading consulting firms in America where he helped many Fortune 100 companies.
